I knew of Charlotte for a little while before our path inevitably crossed thanks to our shared love for Seasons Cafe & Deli and Old Amersham in general, Hannah and I actually had one of her prints on our wall for a few months before we even spoke.

Charlotte was kind enough to send me a few lovely examples of her work in return for some photos, which of course seemed like a fantastic deal to me. I get to do what I love and she gets what I'd like to think is a different take on her Etsy shop photos.

VALENTINES TAPAS AT SEASONS CAFE & DELI

Hannah and I were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful evening of tapas at Seasons Cafe & Deli on Thursday evening, starting with a lovely glass of Champagne followed by some fantastic Tapas, thanks to Fleur and her team.

We chowed down on a selection of dishes including sticky Chinese ribs with sesame seeds & plum sauce, crispy squid with lemon, shredded Catalan chicken, tomato sauce & Parmesan, half an avocado with crayfish, lime & chilli (my personal favourite) and smoked salmon and cream cheese & dill pate on Crostini all washed down with a delicious bottle of Rioja. We even managed space for dessert, and what a dessert it was! Missisippi mud pie for me and a Banoffee Pie for Hannah, the chef had created a wonderful Cherry tart and I got a photo of, what a masterpiece.

All in all we had a wonderful time and are set on returning whenever we get the chance. Maybe for the Hawaiian night coming up in March?!

A BREAKFAST HAMPER

We were lucky enough to win the Seasons Cafe & Deli Breakfast Watch hamper last week! We collected it on Saturday morning and got a chance to dig through it this morning. There are plenty of lovely independent & local products buried away that I can't wait to try over the next few weeks, that hot chocolate is literally chocolate chips that you add to milk and melt. Amazing.

If you've not been to Seasons I would recommend you go. Right now. They serve the best breakfasts in Bucks and trust me when I say, I've done my fair share of searching. You'll probably see me there, sipping a flat white whilst eating huevos rancheros.
